At StepJockey we believe that our responsibilities go beyond our commercial partnerships with clients. Whilst our core programmes have huge social benefits to our corporate clients we also feel it is important to go beyond this and be a force for good in our wider communities both in London and Cornwall
Below you can see some of the projects StepJockey has going on as well as our charity partners for 2019.
London Air Ambulance Charity Challenge
In April, to coincide with the London Air Ambulance team running the Marathon des Sables to raise much needed funds for the charity, StepJockey created a bespoke challenge at Barts NHS Trust to help the fundraising efforts.
The team raised an unbelievable £85,000 and StepJockey was incredibly proud to have played a small part
To find out more have a look at the StepJockey blog or even better read Tom Konig’s, who was one of the team out in Morocco, fantastic blog about his preparation for the marathon and the amazing cause they were running for.
The Broadgate Tower Run Up with Total Motion Events
StepJockey is proud to have teamed up Total Motion Events for their annual tower run at Broadgate Tower in London. Total Motion Events have been running a hugely successful series of competitive stair climbing events all with the aim of raising money for charity
StepJockey and Total Motion Events have been looking for a project to work on together for a number of years and we are excited to embark on what will hopefully be a long and productive relationship
The 2018 event was a huge success with the StepJockey wave rasing over £4,000 for the charity StreetGames. With 300 participants in total completing over 1000 climbs of The Broadgate Tower it was amazing to see such a great appetite for stair climbing. StepJockey is already working towards the 2019 event with an aim to make it an even bigger success.
Charity Partners 2019
This year StepJockey is supporting two charities that are very close to our hearts. The London team have supported Great Ormond Street Hospital both via a donation and by taking part in the annual charity raffle
In Cornwall the team decided on the Cornish Air Ambulance for the incredible work they do providing emergency care to the Cornish community. The relationship with Cornish Air Ambulance makes is all the more meaningful given the work StepJockey has done with the London Air Ambulance
